No Legal Advice — General Information Only
The content on this website — including articles, practice area descriptions, FAQs, and general legal information — does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. Legal outcomes are inherently fact-specific and jurisdiction-dependent.
No information on this website creates or implies an attorney-client relationship. You should not act upon the information provided on this website without first obtaining formal legal advice from a qualified advocate in relation to your specific circumstances.
We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information published on this website, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or free from errors. Laws and regulations change frequently, and we accept no responsibility for reliance on outdated or inaccurate information.
Attorney-Client Relationship
An attorney-client relationship with Advocate Legal Chambers is established only when:
- You have engaged us in writing following a formal consultation;
- We have confirmed our engagement by way of a written engagement letter or retainer agreement; and
- Applicable fees have been agreed upon in writing.
Submitting an enquiry through this website, calling our offices, or sending an email does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship. Until a formal engagement is confirmed in writing, we do not represent you, and information you share with us may not be protected by privilege.
Confidentiality
All information shared with us by existing clients in the course of a formal legal engagement is protected by attorney-client privilege under Indian law and the Bar Council of India Rules of Professional Conduct. We do not disclose client information to third parties without explicit written consent, except where required by law or court order.
Information shared through this website's contact form or by email prior to the establishment of a formal engagement relationship may not enjoy full attorney-client privilege protection, though we treat all such enquiries with the highest degree of discretion and confidentiality.
Fees & Payment
Our fees are agreed upon in writing as part of each engagement letter. We do not publish standard fee schedules on this website as fees vary depending on the nature, complexity, and urgency of each matter.
- All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST), government filing fees, court fees, and out-of-pocket disbursements unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Fees are payable in advance or in accordance with the payment schedule set out in the engagement letter.
- We reserve the right to discontinue representation where agreed fees remain unpaid after reasonable notice.
- All disputes regarding fees are subject to the Bar Council of India's disciplinary and fee dispute mechanisms.
